"When I was introduced to wine while living in the Bay Area of California, I was grateful to those who shared this with me. To me, it represents the character of the land and all of the people involved in the process of bringing forth from the earth something of such high quality for anyone’s enjoyment. It’s also an education in so many interesting and wonderful ways, scientifically, historically, and socially, that can be shared with others, just as it was shared with me. It represents a community, the generations of farmers, barrel makers, the truck drivers, the investors, the managers, store owners, the customers, etc. who are all supported by the continued sharing of knowledge and enjoyment of such an ancient natural resource."
