Vieilles Vignes

White Blend

The fruit for our Vieilles Vignes Blanc is harvested from the heart of the cool Russian River Valley appellation from three distinctive vineyards: Ritchie, Ricioli and Fanucchi-Wood Road. The Ritchie Vineyard vines are over 40 years old and yield small clusters with ripe skins and concentrated flavors. The Ricioli Vineyard has an alluvial clay-loam soil composition and is planted to the Musque clone of Sauvignon Blanc lending floral aromas to the wine. Fanucchi-Wood Road is an organically grown and dry-farmed vineyard with the vines receiving great sun exposure resulting in bright fruit flavors.

Tasting Notes

Bright and floral aromas of orange blossom and lemon zest spring from the glass.

Refreshing and plush flavors greet the palate with notes of cantaloupe, white peach and lime. This wine showcases balanced acidity that carries throughout the long and clean finish. A truly delightful white wine.

Vintage Notes:

The grapes were hand-harvested between August 21 and September 30 and were whole-cluster pressed and fermented in neutral oak barrels prior to bottling.
