Victory Day 1945

75th Anniversary Victory Day Red Wine

VICTORY DAY Commemorating one of the most pivotal moments in our world history, Victory Day 1945 honors the 75th anniversary of May 8, 1945, when the free world joined together to celebrate PEACE. Throughout the world, we have all been touched through our family stories and experiences of World War II. This Sonoma County Red Wine is an homage to our Franco-American family spirit, which underpins all that we do. This wine is testament to our commitment to the appreciation of Victory Day in 1945, as we have wineries on both continents, and believe it is our duty to history to venerate this powerful moment. In our own  family, our grandparents served in the Resistance in France on the side of freedom and felt a close connection to the American soldiers that came to their aid. Seventy-five years later we begin another chapter of celebration, commemoration, peace and commitment to our common culture and values.

Tasting Notes

Tantalizing dark fruit aromas of black plum, raspberry and brambleberry mingle with notes of cassis.

The flavors are rich and dense with blackberry, dark chocolate and a touch of baking spice. Aged in a combination of French and American oak for 15 months, this is a well- balanced wine with nicely integrated tannins. The finish is long and excellent.

Vintage Notes:

Crafted by Director of Winemaking, Brian Maloney, Victory Day is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Grenache, Petit Verdot and Merlot from Sonoma County.
