Description

Grapes for this Sparkling Syrah were harvested from the Alexander Valley. One of the warmest climates in Sonoma County, Alexander Valley produces red grapes that feature bright red fruit characteristics and softer tannins.

Tasting Notes
Appearance: 

A brilliant dark garnet color in the glass. 

Aroma: 

This Sparkling Syrah has fruit aromas of raspberry and pomegranate. 

Palate: 

Made in méthode traditionnelle it is robust with luscious flavors of black peppercorn, vanilla bean and cigar. Delightful and refreshing to enjoy on a warm summer evening or with grilled rack of lamb or pizza.

Winemaking
Vintage Notes: 

The 2018 vintage started with a warm February though cooler than recent years. Fruit set was nearly perfect. Summer temperatures were moderate with a few heat spikes that encouraged an early compressed harvest that started on September 13, 2018.
