The wine spent an average of 48 days on skins before aging 19 months in 100% French oak, of which, 38% was new French oak from Demptos, Seguin Moreau, Ermitage and Taransaud. The final blend includes small amounts of Petit Verdot, Merlot, Malbec and Petite Sirah for added depth and complexity. The wine was bottled unfiltered, contributing greater texture and presence to the mid palate.
