Our 2016 Otelia’s Selection Pinot Noir opens with enticing aromatic notes of black cherry and plum.

On the palatte, a taut, rich mouthfeel boasts with juicy flavors of blackberry and dark fruits that are complemented by earthy notes of damp forest floor and pine. This Pinot Noir is a voluminous full bodied wine with a long finish and great aging potential.

Named for Count Haraszthy’s youngest daughter, Otelia’s Selection Pinot Noir is sourced from one of the finest vineyards atop Sonoma Mountain. This Pinot Noir is sourced from some of the oldest Pinot Noir vines in Sonoma County, this wine has distinctive blend of clones that is enhanced with a small amount of Pinot Meunier to add depth and complexity.  A variety of soils ranging from sandy loam with a shallow clay layer to heavy clay contribute to the distinctive deep fruit and earthy flavors in this wine.
