Tasting Notes
Aroma:

Crafted with punch and vigor, this wine represents a sublime fusion of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah harvested from the heart of Rutherford. Enveloped in a deep, regal violet hue, this wine radiates a persistent force.

Palate:

Tastes of intensely deep red and black berries, accented by gentle hints of spice and oak. This lavish blend reaches a grand crescendo with a monumental finish that endures endlessly, forecasting a capacity for elegant maturation over time.

Winemaking
Vintage Notes:

Aged in 19-20 months in French oak - 22% new French (Saury, Ermitage, and Demptos). Fermentation (all extended maceration) on skins for an average of 43 days. The Cabernet Sauvignon hails from two distinct vineyards on the valley floor of Rutherford - the first from the Raymond Estate on the western side of the Napa river with fine, sandy loam soils and the other from east side of the river on Cortina loam with more of a gravelly sandy loam from alluvial fans. The Petite Sirah comes from our Rutherford Estate. Vegan, bottled unfined and unfiltered.
