Generations is a tribute to the Raymond family’s five generations of winemaking in the Napa Valley. This limited production wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and the fruit was hand-harvested between October 11-23. Grapes were fermented on the skins and underwent extended maceration for an average of 47 days to lend complexity and depth to the wine before being racked to new, tight-grained, medium and medium-plus toast French oak barrels for 19 months of aging. Only our best barrels from Taransaud, Baron, Demptos and Ermitage were selected for this wine.

A beautiful deep purple color.Aroma:
This 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with wafting aromas of chocolate, sweet tobacco, spice cake and blackberry preserves.Palate:
Full-bodied with rich and concentrated dark fruit flavors, this wine is layered with notes of juicy strawberry and raspberry and hints of oolong tea. Perfectly balanced with velvety tannins, the finish is long, fresh and fragrant.Vintage Notes:
The grapes for this 2018 Generations Cabernet Sauvignon were grown in four vineyards in Napa Valley including the west side of St. Helena and Rutherford. The St. Helena vineyards provide fresh, concentrated and nicely textured fruit while the Rutherford grapes add structure and power to the overall wine. By blending grapes from these renowned vineyards and appellations, we are able to make a wine that truly represents the best of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and honors our five generations of making wine in the Napa Valley.
