Grapes for this Sparkling Zinfandel were harvested from the Alexander Valley. One of the warmest climates in Sonoma County, Alexander Valley produces red grapes that feature bright red fruit characteristics and softer tannins.
Appearance:A lovely dark ruby color in the glass.
Aroma:This Sparkling Zinfandel has dark fruit aromas of plum and black cherry.
Palate:Made in méthode traditionnelle. it is bursting with juicy flavors of blackberries and black pepper. Perfect to sip on its own or to pair with BBQ or roasted veggies.
Vintage Notes:The 2017 vintage was marked by extreme conditions that reduced crop size, starting with abundant winter rainfall and mild spring weather, which led to vigorous vines. The growing season saw three heat spikes, including one over Labor Day weekend that kicked harvest into high gear with the grapes being harvested on August 29.
