This beautiful wine is a blend of several vineyards in the North Coast with the majority of the fruit harvested from the prestigious Red Hills appellation of Lake County which is located on the northern edge of the Mayacamas Range. With elevations ranging from 1,350 to 2,600 feet, the grapes are grown in mountain climate conditions allowing for good acid retention during ripening. Grapes were also harvested from the Dry Creek Vineyard located in Sonoma as well as a splash of fruit from Mendocino. The wine was fermented in neutral French oak barrels to maximize higher aromatics and pressed off at dryness capturing the freshness and vibrancy of the wine.

The Exclusive Collection Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the finest vineyards throughout California, with each area adding a unique layer into the overall taste profile. Minimally intrusive winemaking techniques allow the true California terroir to shine through in every glass poured and bottle enjoyed. This Cabernet Sauvignon pays homage to the Raymond family’s five generation tradition of sharing their love of winemaking.

Tasting Notes

Our 2019 North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon opens with enticing aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and baked plum with a touch of baking spice. 


Dark fruit flavors continue through to the palate and are complimented by notes of black cherry, cardamom and nutmeg. This is a soft and approachable wine with a plush mid-palate and a lingering and fresh finish.

Vintage Notes: 

Heavy spring rains enriched the soils and delayed bud break by a few weeks. A heat spike in June, followed by warm weather, brought even veraison throughout the vineyards. A cooling trend and touch of rain in mid-September created ideal conditions for the 2019 harvest which is considered a near-perfect vintage.
