Royale

Red Blend
Description

Whether or not Frenchie descends directly from the monarchy is irrelevant. His regal airs lie in his pure breed attitude, his don’t–stand-in-my-way strut  and his round eyes that shine like gems on a crown. His majestic dignity and kingly authority are  irresistible, as much of his adoring public already knows.

Tasting Notes
Aroma:

Fragrant aromas of plum, cassis and cherry cordiale with earthy hints of licorice and cocoa nibs.

Palate:

On the palate it has similar characteristics as its owner; a small dog with a big bite.

Winemaking
Vintage Notes:

The grapes of this prestigious blend come primarily from three vineyards in Napa Valley; one in the Oak Knoll AVA, a high elevation vineyard in the Northeast corner of Napa and our estate in Rutherford. This is saucy blend of Petite Sirah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and just a touch of Petit Verdot. Our wine was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels of which 10% was New French Oak.
