Description

This Napa Valley Rosé is a vivacious blend based on Pinot Noir with just a splash of Zinfandel to deepen its rich color. Our only rosé from Stephanie Putnam’s winemaking team at Raymond, it bursts with flavors of guava, raspberry and nectarine. Only 100 cases produced.

Tasting Notes
Appearance:

A beautiful deep pink in color.

Aroma:

This Rosé beams with fresh fruit aromas of watermelon, guava and strawberries.

Palate:

The fresh palate showcases bright acidity with notes of nectarine and raspberry followed by a bright and refreshing finish.

Winemaking
Vintage Notes:

June started out warm, followed by a cool and foggy July and August that slowed ripening and caused nice retention of acidity. Even ripening, with no extreme heat events, made for ideal growing conditions. Sparse winter rains resulted in an early bud break, evenly developed clusters, and smaller berries packed full of flavor. Overall, the fruit was exceptional, making it another amazing year for quality.
