Russian River Valley

Sauvignon Blanc

The wine experienced cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve fresh aromatics and lift. It then went through neutral oak aging for a few months on lees to incorporate some texture on the palate.

Tasting Notes

Tropical notes of key lime, lemon, grapefruit and lychee spring from the glass.

Crip and refreshing on the palate, bright flavors of guava, passion fruit, and honeysuckle are followed by a nice minerality on the finish. This is a juicy and flavorful Sauvignon Blanc that finishes clean.

Vintage Notes:

2020 kicked off with ideal growing conditions. Mild temperatures led to evenly developed clusters and an early budbreak was followed by a warms to hot summer. Low winter rains resulted in smaller berries with concentrated flavors. Harvest kicked off in early August and all things pointed to normal yields and exceptional fruit quality.
