Nº 7

Pinot Noir

Jean-Charles Boisset believes that no grape demonstrates the affinity between wine and style like Pinot Noir. N°7, for example, is what the French call DEBONNAIRE – meaning it has an easy, stylish charm. But at the same time, N°7 is not a shy Pinot Noir. Its forward fruit is CHARISMATIC. And its mouth-filling, earthy flavors, coupled with its silky texture, makes it downright SEDUCTIVE.

Tasting Notes

This beautiful wine presents as a dark burgundy color in your glass.

On the nose, spicy aromas of clove, all spice, dried roses and dark fruits shine through.

Complex flavors of dark plum, cranberry sauce and a slight hint of mandarin lead to a medium mouthfeel will delicate tannins and well-balanced acidity.

Vintage Notes:

The JCB N°7 comes from cooler vineyard sites in the Olivet Bench, Sebastopol Hills, Petaluma Gap and Carneros. Bottled unfiltered. With notes of bacon fat and smoke, intermingled with earthiness and rich fruit, it is a perfectly complex bottle of Pinot Noir to pair with food. This wine has a beautiful, high acidity, typical of the Sonoma Coast.
