FAQs

  • What are the differences between the two different ticket options being offered?

Our original registration is now labeled the "Full Service Ticket" and includes all necessary transportation for Leadership Summit events. In response to requests, a 2nd registration package called the "No-Transport Ticket" has been added which does not include transportation between Buena Vista Winery and the El Pueblo Inn on March 5th and 6th. Anyone who has already registered and wishes to change their ticket type should contact Customer Care and will be credited for the difference in cost.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Purchasing the No-Transport Ticket certifies that an Ambassador is:

    • Securing their own transportation to and from Buena Vista Winery on 3/5 and 3/6.
    • Releasing Boisset Collection from any liability related to transportation to and from any Leadership Summit events.

    Please note:

    • All ticket types include access to the transportation being provided by Boisset for our optional Monday tours in Napa Valley on 3/7, departing at 9am from the El Pueblo Inn and returning at 4pm.
    • For those attending the 3/4 Leadership Appreciation Dinner at Wappo Hill, bus transportation from Sonoma will also be provided, regardless of Summit registration or ticket type.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Self-transport to the 3/4 dinner is not permitted - all attendees must arrive and depart on the bus from the El Pueblo Inn.
  • How do ambassadors qualify to attend the Leadership Summit 2022?

Registration for this upcoming in-person training event is open only to qualifying Ambassadors. To qualify, Ambassadors must be Leaders who have reached a paid-as title of Director or above twice in the calendar year of 2021, or once in the period between 10/1/21 and 1/31/22. Qualifying Ambassadors will receive an invitation to register by email. Please do not register for this event unless you have received an email invitation to participate in the Leadership Summit 2022, or are otherwise confident that you have met the qualification requirements.

  • I am an Ambassador but have not qualified for this event. What trainings are available for me to attend?

Our Ambassador Retreat 2022 is a virtual training event open to ALL Ambassadors. It will take place on March 19th and 20th 2022 and will feature a full day of engaging training on Sat 3/19 from 9:00AM-3:00PM PT and a half day on Sunday 3/20th from 9:00AM-12:00PM PT. We will host our Annual Ambassador Awards Gala virtually as well on Saturday evening 3/19 from 5:00PM-7:00PM PT. Watch the Ambassador Buzz for registration info - tickets for this event will be available soon!

  • What is included in the registration fee for Leadership Summit 2022?

Leadership Summit 2022 will be held at Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma, CA, on Saturday March 4th and Sunday March 5th. The registration fee include access to our daytime agenda of training sessions on both days, plus a special evening social event and dinner on Saturday. Registration fee includes continental breakfast and lunch on both dates and a tasting reception and dinner on Sat. 3/5 only. All attendees may participate in an optional tour of new Napa Valley venues on Mon. 3/7 from 9am to 4pm.

The Full Service Ticket includes transportation to and from Buena Vista Winery on March 5th and 6th, while the No-Transport Ticket does not - see ticket pages for details. All tickets include transportation for optional Monday tour and all Leadership Summit transportation picks up and drops off at the El Pueblo Inn in Sonoma only. Ambassadors are responsible for their own travel to and from Sonoma, CA, for their own accommodations and for any meals or transportation needs not described above.

  • Is there a VIP registration option for Leadership Summit 2022?

No. All of our qualifying "Leaders" are VIPs by definition, so there is only one ticket type for this event!

  • What are the public health requirements for this event regarding Covid-19?

We will be following all CDC public health guidelines and Sonoma County requirements in place at the winery at the time of the event, including those on social distancing, food service, facility hygiene and maximum event capacities. Masks are currently required only for employees and unvaccinated individuals at Buena Vista Winery, and these may be removed only for tasting or eating.

All attendees have been asked via email to submit a negative COVID test 24-72 hours prior to check in via a JotForm submission, whether they are vaccinated or not. Vaccination is strongly encouraged, but not required for attendance, in accordance with Boisset Collection company policy for events at our wineries. For planning purposes, we will also request cooperation from attendees in providing their vaccination status and in submitting related documentation in advance.

Ultimately, decisions relating to health are up to each individual. For anyone with concerns or questions about their personal risks, we strongly advise consulting your physician and following their recommendations.

  • What if I test positive for Covid before the event?

In the event that an attendee tests positive for Covid and is therefore ineligible to attend, their registration fee will be refunded in full.

  • Are all of the weekend's events taking place at Buena Vista Winery?

Yes. In order to make the best use of everyone's time, we will be at Buena Vista for the entire Leadership Summit 2022 event, including the Saturday evening reception and dinner.

  • Can my spouse or partner attend Leadership Summit? May I bring them as my guest to the Leadership Dinner on Saturday night?

The spouse or partner of a qualifying Ambassador who is actively involved in working their business is considered to be qualified and welcome to register for and attend the Leadership Summit regardless of whether or not they are formally listed as a 2-person team on their Ambassador account. Only those who are enrolled in and attending the full 2-day event may attend the Saturday evening Leadership Dinner, so attendees will not be permitted to bring guests and the only spouses or partners present will be those who are themselves registered Leadership Summit attendees.

  • I heard there is a dinner at Jean-Charles' house? What are the details on that?

While registration for Leadership Summit 2022 is one of the qualification criteria for this separate invitation-only dinner, this stand-alone event is not part of the Leadership Summit 2022 agenda itself. It is scheduled on an adjacent date - Friday, March 4th - for the convenience of our top Ambassadors.

Every year, qualifying Leaders are invited to attend our Annual Recognition Dinner at Jean-Charles' home on Wappo Hill. This year's event will take place on Friday, March 4th at 6 pm. To receive an invitation for this year's dinner, Leaders must have been paid-as Senior Directors or above for six months of the year 2021 and must be registered to attend the Leadership Summit 2022. Invitations will be sent out in January 2022, after the close of the qualifying period. For questions regarding this event, please contact fielddevelopment@boisset.com. Those who qualified as Executive Director and above for 6 months in 2021 have earned 2 seats at the dinner and may bring a guest free of charge that is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.  Those who have earned only one seat at the dinner may purchase a guest registration for $125 - limit one per qualifying Ambassador. Guest registrations must be received no later than 2/15/22. Guests may not themselves be Ambassadors unless they are a member of a 2-person team for the qualifying Ambassador account.

  • Will there be a break before the Saturday evening reception and dinner so that I can go back to the hotel and change?

No. In order to minimize the amount of time Ambassadors spend on buses, we will transition directly from our daytime training sessions into our reception and dinner on Saturday evening. There will however be a break for anyone who would like to take a walk on the grounds or freshen up in the restrooms. For anyone who would like to change clothes or shoes, we recommend bringing these items to Buena Vista with you on Saturday morning.

  • What is the deadline to register? Will I be able to cancel my registration?

Registration for the 2022 Leadership Summit will close on Feb 22nd. Cancellation requests must be received on or before Feb. 5th 2022 in order to be considered for returns and credits. Transfers from one Ambassador to another are not permitted.
