Sensous soft easy-drinking reds are ripe & fruity, but not tart or tannic. They are thoroughly modern “crowd-pleasers” that do not need food to taste their best, and some are not fully dry.

We strive to produce distinctive wines that spotlight unique terroirs in a socially and environmentally responsible way, practicing sustainable viticulture and utilizing minimally intrusive winemaking techniques. A careful blend of Merlot, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, the grapes for our 2020 Red Wine were carefully chosen from sunny, primarily sustainably farmed vineyards throughout California.

Tasting Notes

Our 2020 California Red Wine is filled with aromas of black cherry, red raspberry and exotic notes of cardamom. 


Blackberry and strawberry flavors tease the palate with complements of anise seed and cola bean. This is a well-balanced wine with smooth tannins and a lingering finish.

Vintage Notes: 

2020 kicked off with ideal growing conditions. Mild temperatures led to evenly developed clusters and an early budbreak was followed by a warm to hot summer. Low winter rains resulted in smaller berries with concentrated flavors. Harvest started in early August and all things pointed to normal yields and exceptional fruit quality.
