Description
We strive to produce distinctive wines that spotlight unique terroirs in a socially and environmentally responsible way, practicing sustainable viticulture and utilizing minimally intrusive winemaking techniques. A careful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot, the grapes for our 2019 Red Blend were carefully chosen from warm, sunny, sustainably farmed vineyards throughout California.
Aroma:Our 2019 California Red Wine is filled with aromas of star anise, cherry, raspberry and notes of white pepper.
Palate:Blackberry and strawberry flavors coat the palate with complements of licorice and cola. This is a well-balanced wine with smooth tannins and a lingering finish.
Vintage Notes:Heavy spring rains enriched the soils and delayed bud break by a few weeks. A heat spike in June, followed by warm weather, brought even veraison throughout the vineyards. A cooling trend and touch of rain in mid-September created ideal conditions for the 2019 harvest which is considered a near-perfect vintage.
