Melissa Lynch
Melissa is one of the pioneers of the direct-to-consumer marketing and e-commerce in the wine industry. She co-founded 1-800Wineshop.com in 1998, which later became a multi-million dollar company. They created the first nationwide direct selling company using the model of in-home-wine tastings through a network of independent representatives, which grew to amass thousands of consultants across the country. As a busy mom, Melissa’s passion is empowering others to build their own entrepreneurial wine career that works around family and life. She is excited to be a part of the Boisset family because of their commitment to crafting only the best wines, innovation sustainability, and lifestyle.
Kathy McKean
Kathy McKean has joined the Ambassador team as Ambassador Development Manager, working remotely from her home base of Erie, Colorado. She brings her passion for wine to the Boisset family after over a decade in the direct sales field, having built large teams and successful businesses at The Cocoa Exchange and Wine Shop at Home. Kathy’s fundamental passion is training and development (great for building the field!) so she made the move to the corporate side with a position in field development. She lives in Colorado with her husband of 29 years, Mike. They have two grown daughters, love to spend time in the mountains and travel when they can to feed their passion for good food and wine.

She oversees the operational aspects of the business and takes great pleasure supporting the growing team of Ambassadors as well as their Customers and Wine Society Members. She has over ten years of experience in the wine industry and over eight years in Information Technology.

Stephanie Putnam
As the Director of Winemaking at Raymond Vineyards, Stephanie oversees all aspects of winemaking for this iconic Napa Valley winery. Before joining Boisset, she spent 8 years as winemaker at Far Niente Winery and prior to that, she was part of the team at Hess Collection. A California native and graduate of U.C. Davis with a B.S. in Fermentation Science, Stephanie developed her passion for winemaking at an early age thanks to her family’s appreciation of gourmet food and wine. Throughout her career in Napa Valley, Stephanie has focused on producing high quality Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Her wines have won critical acclaim, including Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast’s top 100 and being named The Wine News Cabernet of the Year.
Brian Maloney
Winemaking has been Brian’s family tradition ever since his great grandfather planted vineyards and founded a Napa Valley winery at the turn of the century. His mother’s family has been growing grapes and making wine in California for four generations. Brian also learned the importance of the land from his father, whose family has been involved in agricuture in Sonoma County for the past 150 years. Inspired by the story of his great grandfather, Brian left the family farm to study Enology at the U.C. at Davis. He worked his first crush at one of DeLoach’s neighbors in the Russian River Valley, Balletto Vineyards. His winemaking talents and natural way with the land were quickly noticed by DeLoach’s former wine maker who recruited Brian to join the team in 2003.
Katie Carter
After over 10 years of amazing work with DeLoach Vineyards and the Lyeth Estate, we’re very proud to announce Katie Carter as the new winemaker for Wattle Creek Winery. As a Sonoma County native, and graduate of UC Berkeley, over the years Katie has demonstrated a keen interest in winemaking of various styles as well as in-depth knowledge of Sonoma County. Prior to joining DeLoach in 2006, Katie had pursued her passion overseas, completing a harvest with the Mulderbosch Winery in South Africa as well as working with a wide variety of winemaking styles with Tandem Winery and Greg & Greg Custom Crush in Sebastopol. Join us all in congratulating Katie, and the Wattle Creek Team in her new role in crafting from grape to bottle what are sure to be some of the best wines in its history.
