Vintage Notes:
The grapes for the 2014 Generations Cabernet Sauvignon are grown in some of the best vineyards and appellations in the Napa Valley. They come from four vineyards; two in St. Helena, one in Oakville and one in east Napa. The majority, 55% comes from the west side of St. Helena, 7% from east Oakville with the balance coming from East Napa. By blending grapes from these renowned appellations, we are able to make a wine that truly represents the best of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and honors our five generation history of making wine in the Napa Valley.
The 2014 vintage in Napa Valley was one of the earliest harvested vintages in years. A warm spring led to early bud break and created the perfect environment for flowering and fruit set. With warm days and cool nights, our team was able to maintain ideal acid levels with optimum, bright fruit flavors.
