Ask anyone about Judia Black, and they’ll tell you she’s a practical, yet compassionate manager with unstoppable energy and drive. Add problem-solving and a keen understanding of sales and marketing, and you begin to get the picture. With her two daughters grown and increasingly independent, Judia is eager to return to the frontlines and do battle for the right digital/media or lifestyle products company. Judia has just completed a digital transformation leadership program at Columbia Business School, where her team developed and piloted an innovative chatbot for new employee onboarding, www.daywon.ai. In the six month program, Judia was the team “COO” and brought a unique combination of strategy, marketing, public relations, and event planning skills, along with sommelier training to the table. A native Atlantan, she holds a BA in Mathematics from Spelman College, graduate studies in Finance from the Columbia Business School, an MBA in Marketing & Corporate Strategy from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, a sommelier certificate from the American Sommelier Association, advanced training from the Wine Spirit & Education Trust (WSET), and most recently, a certificate in Digital Business Leadership & Strategy from Columbia Business School in NYC. As Founder and CEO of enJoie, Judia has provided strategic marketing consulting services to clients in the food and beverage industries including Heritage Link Brands, a distributor and importer of high social impact and sustainable wines from South Africa and Brazil: Divino Tuscany, an excursion to Italy with wine editor and critic James Suckling; musician John Legend's Legend Vineyard Exclusive (LVE) wines with Raymond Vineyards & the Boisset Collection and Theopolis Vineyards, to name a few. She has also donated significant time and resources to numerous non-profit and charitable organizations over the span of her careeer.
