Tasting Notes
Aroma:

This 2019 Estate Pinot Noir enchants with a bouquet of succulent cherry, vibrant raspberry, and a hint of vanilla and spice.

Palate:

Flavors of rich dark cocoa intertwine with black cherry, red plum, and luscious strawberry. Gentle tannins with lively acidity lead to a delightful and lingering finish.

Winemaking
Vintage Notes:

Planted on Huichica clay loam soil, our Estate has eight blocks of Pinot Noir with a unique combination of clone and rootstock. The 2019 Estate Pinot Noir was harvested by hand and is made using all of our eight estate clones – 115, 828, Swan, La Tache, Calera and Mt. Eden, 777 and 23. This combination of clones showcases the ideal expression of the estate’s terroir and were fermented in individual lots with native yeasts in open top fermenters, basket-pressed and aged on lees before being blended together.
