In August of 2019, while attending a conference in Las Vegas, I signed on as a Wine Society member with my friend Dawna Herndon. Good food deserves to be paired with a glass of great wine. In January 2020, I became an Ambassador because one of my friends wanted to join the Wine Society and inquired if I would get any benefits if she joined. She became my first customer. In September 2020, I was laid off from my day job, and that is when I started my wine business. I have had a passion for learning about wine since 2004; after 15 years at Fidelity Investments, I left in 2008 and went back to school to study Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu. And I obtained my degree in 2010. After graduating, I worked in the Food & Beverage Industry for two years. 

Last year I visited Napa for the first time to attend a customer-only event at Raymond Vineyards; the experience, the people, and the wine were terrific. I love my wine business.
