Description

This Napa Valley Pinot Blanc is a sensory delight that is both delicate and rich at the same time. Delicate flavors of Asian pears, white peaches and blanched almonds give it a vivacious profile, while neutral oak aging provides an almost voluptuous texture. Only 80 cases produced.

Tasting Notes
Aroma:

Bright citrus aromas spring from the glass with notes of pear, apple and a touch of almond.

Palate:

This light-bodied wine is crisp and refreshing with flavors of peach mixed with lemon and lime followed by a nice minerality characteristic on the lingering finish.

Winemaking
Vintage Notes:

June started out warm, followed by a cool and foggy July and August that slowed ripening and caused nice retention of acidity. Even ripening, with no extreme heat events, made for ideal growing conditions. Sparse winter rains resulted in an early bud break, evenly developed clusters, and smaller berries packed full of flavor. Overall, the fruit was exceptional, making it another amazing year for quality.
