Description

Whether from famous Bourgogne villages, regional appellations or homage cuvées, the House's wines carry the Bouchard Aîné & Fils imprint, which since 1750 has become a prestigious signature, synonymous with excellence and know-how thanks to exceptional men. Full of history and flavours, they are a complete range to allow all connoisseurs and enthusiasts around the world to discover the richness and incredible potential of the noble grape varieties of their region of origin.

In accordance to our tradition and values of elegance and quality, the Pinot Noir grapes and juices from the South of France were selected on specific vineyards cultivated on clay and limestone soils along the Mediterranean coast. Subjected to strong thermal amplitude, the grapes benefit from very favorable conditions to come to full maturity and express all the richness of the variety.

Please note that this is an imported wine and cannot legally be shipped to AL, GA, IA, IL, IN, LA, ME, MI, MO, MT, OH, SD, VA or WV

Tasting Notes
Appearance:

Elegant light raspberry pink.

Aroma:

Fresh red fruits flavours (raspberry, strawberry), with citrus notes (grapefruit, tangerine) and English candy.

Palate:

A frank and supple attack. The mouth is fulfilled by a sense of tension, an unctuous character and a light sweetness. A refreshing, harmonious and fruity wine, ending on persistent and acidulous notes.

Winemaking
Vintage Notes:

Harvested at night to preserve all their freshness, the grapes were pressed directly. The juice then underwent static settling at low temperature to ensure gentle fermentation and the preservation of fruity aromas. Selected aromatic yeasts were then added, followed by fermentation at 18°C with micro-ventilation. Once malolactic fermentation was complete, the wine was racked and matured on fine lees with regular stirring of the lees.
