Red Blend

A beautiful Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Malbec red blend. The grapes for our Napa Valley Reserve Red Wine were harvested from five vineyards across the valley with about half from the heart of Napa Valley. The Merlot grapes are from Rutherford and a vineyard in the Oak Knoll district providing a richness and plushness to the wine. The Syrah grapes are harvested from a hillside vineyard east of St. Helena and provide structure and acidity to this Red Wine.

Tasting Notes

Our inaugural vintage of our Napa Valley Reserve Red Wine opens with bright aromas of raspberry and cherry with a touch of anise. 


Red fruit flavors continue through to the palate and are highlighted by blueberry and freshly cracked white pepper. This is a well-balanced wine with good acidity and juicy but, firm tannins. The mouthfeel is velvety in texture and the finish is long and satisfying.

Vintage Notes: 

The 2016 vintage across California was a near-perfect growing season. A mild winter and spring led to a steady mild July and August, followed by warm days at the end of the season for the perfect ripeness. With warm days and cool nights in the summer, grape growers were able to maintain ideal acid levels with balanced, concentrated fruit flavors.
