The JCB GALA series features French Champagnes of spectacular quality presented in mirror-finish bottles worthy of this elixir of the gods. GALA Gold is an impressive vintage Champagne with elegant flavors and subtle oak notes. It is made from 50% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 15% Pinot Meunier grapes grown in the Grand Cru Chardonnay vineyards and 1er Cru Pinot Noir Vineyards of Champagne's 2012 growing season which had difficult start, followed by a very sunny summer which helped bring a slow maturation and great concentration in the grapes. The 2012 GALA ULTRA BLACK offers a well-structured palate with hints of gingerbread, almond and brioche notes. It is made from 60% Chardonnay and 40% grapes grown in the Grand Cru Chardonnay vineyards, and 1er Cru Pinot Noir Vineyards of Champagne's 2012 growing season which offered a dry and warm summer that brought grapes to a high level of maturity.
