Private Reserve

Tasting Notes

Our 2017 Private Reserve Zinfandel opens with juicy aromas of plum and blackberry with a delicate hint of rose petals.

On the palate, flavors of boysenberry and strawberry and are balanced by notes of honey, brown sugar and toasted oak. This medium to full bodied wine features fine-grain tannins, well-balanced acid and a spreading finish.

Vintage Notes:

The Private Reserve Zinfandel was sourced from the warmer portion of Sonoma Valley where the afternoons reach high temperatures during the growing season for extended periods of time and result in a wine with juicy, rich flavors. The grapes for our 2017 vintage come from several old vineyards within Sonoma Valley including Monte Rosso and Richard’s vineyard.
