No two wines are alike and each adorable mini bottle contains just over 6 ounces - a generous pour for one or two half glasses for two!  Advent Calendars cannot be combined with other orders, offers or included in Wine Society or Collector shipments.

  • What is an Advent Calendar and what does it celebrate?

    Advent season is the period before Christmas and an Advent Calendar is traditionally used to count down the days, ending on Christmas Eve. However, the Advent Calendar concept can also be used to celebrate any number of winter occasions.

  • How much wine does each of these mini bottles contain?

    Each mini bottle contains 187ml of wine, which is 6.32 US ounces. Perfectly sized for two tasting portions or a generous glass for one.

  • Do you ship to my state?

    We ship to nearly every corner of the U.S., with a few exceptions: Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Utah. Some states have unique restrictions on shipping alcohol. Scroll down and click on our States of Operation for complete details,

  • What if I receive a bottle that is flawed?

    For any customer service issues, including flawed bottles, please email customercare@boisset.com, and our team will work diligently to make things right.

  • On what date should I open the first wine? Should I start with #1 or #24?

    If you plan to use your Advent Calendar to celebrate Christmas, we suggest that you open door #1 to reveal wine #1 on December 1st and so on to end with the final wine on December 24th, Christmas Eve. This traditional schedule is the one we will be following by sharing videos on each wine daily, in order, beginning on Decmber 1st. If you choose to adapt your calendar to another occasion, you may find it more  fun to open your doors and wines in reverse order, to make for a 24 day "countdown" to the date in question.

  • What kind of wines are in this Advent Calendar?

    Our Boisset Collection Advent Calendar features dry, food-friendly red, white, and rosé wines from some of Napa and Sonoma’s most storied and awarded wineries, including wines that cover all five categories of Boisset's Spectrum of Style.

  • When does my Advent Calendar Ship?

    Wine Advent Calendars will start shipping in November. Orders that include both advent calendars and non-advent items will ship separately.

  • How do I store the wines?

    Store your Advent Calendar in a cool, dark place until you're ready to enjoy the wines. Pro tip: Open the advent doors an hour before you plan to drink, so you have the option to chill the wine!

  • Important Information on Advent Sales

    Many aspects of these sales are non-standard so be aware that:

    • Advent Calendars will ship in November, timed to arrive in time for the Dec. 1st kickoff of advent season.
    • Advent Calendars do not ship from WineDirect so whether purchased by Ambassadors or customers, NO OTHER ITEMS CAN BE ADDED TO THESE ORDERS (including greeting cards).
    • Gift messages typed in at checkout will be printed on a holiday card that matches the top of the Advent Calendar box.
