Red Wine
SKU: FNRECO2272HA

Sensous soft easy-drinking reds are ripe & fruity, but not tart or tannic. They are thoroughly modern “crowd-pleasers” that do not need food to taste their best, and some are not fully dry.

FOOD PAIRING: These fruity reds can handle sugar and spice better than more classic reds, so they are perfect for ASIAN CUISINE, COMFORT FOODS, BRUNCH DISHES plus casual fare like BURGERS & BBQ.

Description

Proprietor Jean-Charles Boisset’s French bulldog, Frenchie, represents the very essence of style, charisma and personality. With his stout stature and ability to steal everyone’s heart, he is definitely royalty around the winery. At Frenchie Winery we give you the opportunity to take a piece of royalty home with you in the form of some delicious wines.

Tasting Notes
Aroma:

Beginning with lively and exuberant aromas of succulent raspberry, baked blueberry pie, and a delicate hint of fragrant rose petal, this wine is opulently rich and intricately complex.

Palate:

Its vibrant character shines through as it unfolds with red fruit flavors of ripe cherry, luscious strawberry, and tangy pomegranate, all accompanied by the warm embrace of nutmeg and a subtle trace of aromatic cedar. The acidity is harmoniously counterpoised by the finesse of supple tannins, culminating in an enduring and deeply gratifying finish that lingers luxuriously on the palate.

Winemaking
Vintage Notes:

This Red Wine honors the many faces Frenchie has held over the years, from Napoleon Bonaparte and Ben Franklin to Betsy Ross and Marie Antoinette. A mixed-breed blend of six varietals, this is truly a delicious and fresh wine that pairs nicely with every occasion.
